To Our Visitors

Thank you for your interest in Lawinfo and the Lead Counsel Program. We are dedicated to providing the best, most accurate legal resources, as well as the best possible choices for legal representation. We encourage and solicit your comments and suggestions.

Lawinfo developed its Lead Counsel Program as a simple, convenient, and most of all, reliable way for consumers and businesses to find the best possible legal resources and legal representation in the shortest amount of time. To become a member and earn the Lead Counsel designation attorneys must receive multiple peer recommendations. Simply put, Lead Counsel members have been recognized by their peers as outstanding attorneys in their respective field.

Lawinfo is committed to follow up every single attorney application and check all references provided by the applicant. Only four Lead Counsel attorneys are placed at the top of all search results in each practice area panel to provide our visitors with the most convenient way to locate an attorney focusing in a particular area of practice and location and afford our Lead Counsel attorneys maximum exposure.

Lead Counsel attorneys must be nominated by a minimum of three of their peers (outside their immediate firm who practice in the same or similar area of law), be in good standing with their Bar Association, meet disciplinary requirements, and must have excellent reputations in the legal community. Many of Lawinfo's Lead Counsel Members hold official positions in major legal organizations, boards, and academies. Many have won awards, been recognized by their Bar Associations, and play quintessential roles in their communities. If you would like to apply for Lawinfo's Lead Counsel Program, please complete the Lead Counsel Application.

Lawinfo.com is committed to remain your premier legal resource portal. Many attorneys that qualify for the Lead Counsel program have chosen not to participate since Lead Counsel firms and attorneys listed in the attorney directory pay a fee to Lawinfo.com.

Lawinfo.com is not a referral service and does not make recommendations or endorsements of the use of any attorney's services.

The Lead Counsel designation is no warranty or guaranty that the services provided by firms/lawyers with the "Lead Counsel" designation are in any way superior to legal services provided by any licensed firm/lawyer in that state.
